Option 1 — Delete your account from inside the app (fastest)

1. Open the SignWow app on iOS, Android, or Web.
2. Sign in if you are not already signed in.
3. Go to Settings and click Delete Account.
4. Click the Delete button in the confirmation modal.

Your account and associated personal data will be queued for permanent deletion immediately. You will be signed out on all devices.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email us:

• To: ask@signwow.co.uk
• Subject: Data Deletion Request
• Include: the email address, phone number, or Facebook display name associated with your SignWow account, plus any details that help us verify you are the account owner.

We will confirm receipt within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days.

Option 3 — Facebook Login users

If you signed in with Facebook, you can also revoke access from Facebook directly:

1. Go to facebook.com → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
2. Find SignWow in the list.
3. Click Remove.

Facebook will notify SignWow, and we will delete the data we received from Meta (your Facebook user ID, name, email, and any other authorized fields) within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Account and profile data (name, email, phone number, avatar)
• Call history, contacts, and messaging metadata
• Authentication tokens and third-party login data (including data from Facebook Login)
• Device identifiers, push notification tokens, and analytics records linked to your account

What we may retain

We may retain a limited subset of data where retention is required by law (fraud prevention, tax, or telecommunications record-keeping). Any retained data is isolated and deleted once the legal retention period expires.
